Job summary

River Point Behavioral Health, a subsidiary of UHS, is a treatment facility in central Jacksonville, FL, seeking a full-time LVN/LPN to provide nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

The Licensed Practical Nurse will apply psychiatric and addiction nursing skills, serve as a medication nurse, and participate as a member of the treatment team to deliver compassionate, comprehensive care tailored to each patient’s needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nursing School.
• Florida license current.
• One year nursing experience, psychiatric and/or addictions nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care to adults, children and adolescents under RN supervision.
• Acts as a medication nurse within the treatment team.
• Maintains a therapeutic relationship with patients and supports care plans.

We are pleased to announce the following available position: FT LVN/LPN

The Licensed Practical Nurse delivers nursing care to adults, children and adolescent patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Responsible for utilizing technical nursing skills in providing care to designated patients and incorporates a basic understanding of psychiatric and substance abuse disorders. Serves as an active member of the treatment team; a medication nurse, and maintains a therapeutic relationship with patients.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nursing School; maintains current Florida license; one year nursing experience, psychiatric and/or addictions nursing preferred.
