Job summary

Centurion is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at West Tennessee State Penitentiary in Henning, Tennessee. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients, under the direction of RNs, medical, and psychiatric staff.

Requirements include Tennessee LPN license or ability to obtain, current CPR, and eligibility for a security clearance. Shift is 5:30 pm–6:00 am, 3 twelve-hour shifts with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Tennessee LPN license or ability to obtain license.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Corrections experience not required.
• Shift: 5:30 pm–6:00 am, 3 12s, rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within scope of practice.
• Work under the direction of RNs, medical and psychiatric staff.
• Respond to physical and mental health needs of inmates.
