Legal Intake Assistant – Be the Warm, Friendly Voice of Our Law Firm

This is not your average law firm job post—please read to the end for specific instructions on how to apply (yes, it matters!).

Do you love talking to people? Do you thrive on creating positive experiences and keeping things organized? If you’re nodding yes, keep reading…

Monteforte Law, P.C. is looking for a Legal Intake Assistant to become the voice and first impression of our firm. This is a full-time, in-office position (40 hours/week) that’s all about connecting with people, guiding them through our process, and making them feel seen, heard, and valued.

We’re a growing estate planning and elder law firm that helps high-earning individuals, families, and business owners preserve what they’ve worked so hard for. And we believe that happy clients come from a happy team.

This role is perfect for you if:
  • You’re a natural on the phone—your voice exudes confidence and warmth.
  • You love helping people and making their day a little easier.
  • You have a background in customer service or sales and know how to “sell” value (in this case, us).
  • You’re organized and detail-obsessed, even when juggling multiple tasks.
  • You want a consistent, part-time schedule (with options!) and a team that actually enjoys coming to work.
Your core responsibilities will include:
  • Answering and returning calls, and making potential clients feel heard and helped.
  • Scheduling consultations and managing our intake process with professionalism and empathy.
  • Explaining what we do and why we’re different—your job is to secure that appointment!
  • Coordinating follow-ups and keeping track of client touchpoints.
  • Handling general administrative tasks (like scanning, mailing, keeping the office tidy and stocked).
  • Making sure our clients feel special—because they are. We send gifts, we call to check in, we go the extra mile.
Why you’ll love working here:
  • We offer a flexible, part-time schedule that fits your life—no evenings, no weekends.
  • Our team lives by a “no jerks” rule—we support each other and genuinely enjoy our work.
  • You’ll grow in confidence and skill while helping people navigate some of life’s most important decisions.
  • We’re a boutique firm with a big heart—and our culture reflects that.
You’ll thrive in this role if you are:
  • Compassionate and emotionally intelligent—we deal with sensitive family matters.
  • Professional, punctual, and polished in your communication (phone, email, and in person).
  • A team player with just the right balance of independence and willingness to ask for help.
  • Excited to learn (even if you’ve never worked in law before—estate planning experience is a bonus, not a must!).

Knowledge of estate planning and elder law is not a requirement but will be a bonus!
