Responsibilities

1. Customer Service: Welcome and connect with each customer, recommend products, provide demonstrations, and sampling to enhance their experience.
2. Quality Assurance: Serve only items that meet quality standards, demonstrate safe food handling, and follow merchandising and storage standards. Maintain a professional appearance during shifts.
3. Store Profitability: Follow cash handling and inventory procedures.
4. Barista Knowledge: Self-initiated learning beyond training, mastering product standards and conduct policies of The GIANT Company and Starbucks.

Qualifications

• Preferably supervisory and/or barista experience.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. with valid identification.
• Meet performance standards including attendance.
• Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills; food handling certification preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum 4-hour shifts, depending on business needs.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs., stand for 55%, walk for 45%.
• Category IV: lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.; max pull static 20 lbs.

Preferred Requirements

Understanding of company policies as outlined in the manual and handbook is expected.
