The main responsibility of this role is to prepare various food items such as sandwiches, subs, roasted or fried chicken, pizza, and appetizers, and to merchandise these items according to plan-o-gram (POG).

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
  2. Manage production planning and complete invoice reviews.
  3. Prepare products for the sales floor, including hot bar and warmers, following SOP.
  4. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all work surfaces, tools, equipment, and floors.
  5. Complete daily food safety compliance logs and track losses using known loss tracking (KLT).
  6. Train team members and produce food items like sandwiches, pizza, and deli products per SOP.
  7. Assist customers with slicing meats or cheeses, portioning, weighing, and labeling.
  8. Prepare products for grab-and-go sections and assist with roasting and frying chicken, including cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
  9. Order products for specific programs and produce smoked items as per SOP.
  10. Utilize cleaning tools and sanitizers for maintaining hygiene standards.
  11. Perform record-keeping, order reviews, and upload freight as assigned.
  12. Execute merchandising programs and organize sales floor areas.
  13. Follow safety rules, report accidents, and adhere to PPE requirements.
  14. Maintain proper food safety and sanitation practices, proper lifting techniques, and awareness of emergency procedures.
  15. Understand and comply with company policies, MSDS, Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, and Right-to-Know training requirements.
Qualifications
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and understand company policies and safety regulations.
  • Meet ergonomic, physical, and performance standards, including attendance.
  • Proficiency with, or willingness to learn, the necessary equipment and tools.
Physical Requirements
  • Minimum 4-hour shifts, with physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for 55%, and walking for 45% of the time.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, including freezer environments.
Preferred Requirements

Understanding of company policies as detailed in the employee manual and policy documents.
