The primary role involves preparing various foods such as sandwiches, subs, roasted or fried chicken, appetizers, soups, pizzas, and transferring deli foods to containers, labeling, and merchandising according to plan-o-gram (POG).

Responsibilities
  1. Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
  2. Manage production planning and invoice review.
  3. Produce products for the sales floor, warmers, and hot bar according to SOP and POG.
  4. Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors, and counters daily.
  5. Complete food safety logs and record loss using known loss tracking (KLT).
  6. Train team members and assist customers, including slicing meats or cheeses, portioning, weighing, and labeling.
  7. Prepare grab-and-go items and assist with roasting, frying, and packaging chicken and other products.
  8. Maintain equipment, including cleaning and oil management.
  9. Order and produce smoked products as per SOP.
  10. Perform cleaning, record-keeping, and merchandise execution tasks.
  11. Organize sales floor coolers and freezers, plan weekly circular ads, and ensure program execution.
General Rules
  • Report accidents and injuries promptly.
  • Follow safety and operational procedures, including PPE use and equipment safety.
  • Maintain cleanliness, proper lifting techniques, and awareness of emergency procedures.
  • Understand and adhere to company policies, including MSDS, Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, and Right-to-Know training.
Qualifications
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and understand safety regulations.
  • Meet ergonomic, physical, and performance standards, including attendance.
  • Ability to operate necessary equipment and tools.
Physical Requirements
  • Minimum 4-hour shifts, with physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs., standing 55%, walking 45%, and exposure to varying temperatures.
Preferred Requirements

Understanding of company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.
