Other key characteristics of an ideal candidate will include the following knowledge, skills, abilities, and characteristics:
  • Commitment to a guardian-oriented policing through building community trust and procedural justice.

About Our Community
  • Prime South Shore location — 18 miles south of Boston, bordered by Hingham, Hull, Norwell, and Scituate. Coastal calls. Tight-knit neighborhoods. High visibility policing.
  • Community-First Policing — You’ll know the residents, the businesses, the waterfront, and the rhythm of the town. This is real municipal policing.
  • Visitors + Residents — Seasonal activity, coastal dynamics, and year-round community engagement keep the job varied and meaningful.
