Job summary
AccentCare, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) in Denton, TX for a full-time home health role. You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision, document progress, and support pediatric to geriatric patients across Little Elm and Frisco.
Eligible candidates are licensed LVN/LPN with CPR and a valid driver's license. The position offers a M-F 8–5 schedule with monthly on-call duties.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
- Currently licensed LVN/LPN in the state of operation.
- One year of LVN/LPN work experience.
- Must possess and maintain CPR certification.
- Must be a licensed driver who can travel to all business locations.
Responsibilities
- Performs technical nursing functions and direct patient care under RN supervision.
- Promotes and maintains optimal client care under RN supervision.
- Maintains a safe patient environment.
- Identifies and communicates significant abnormalities to case manager and team.
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders.
- Re-evaluates client’s nursing needs and reports findings to the Case Manager.
- Counsels and instructs client and family in nursing needs.
- Prepares clinical and progress notes and ensures timely documentation.
