FT General Cleaner- Lakeland, FL (5043) (Custodial)

Location: Lakeland, FL, United States of America

Salary Range: $8.50 - $13.00

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and wax floors.
• Machine shampoo carpeting.
• Clean walls, vents, screens, furniture, drinking fountains, light fixtures, window blinds, brass, and other interior fixtures.
• Wash interior and exterior windows and glass doors.
• Sweep entryways, empty exterior cigarette urns, and trashcans outside building entrances.
• Clean restrooms, sinks, toilets, and replenish supplies.
• Change interior light bulbs reachable from a ladder.
• Complete work requests for repairs.
• Remove snow and ice; apply salt or melting products as needed.
• Organize custodial closets.
• Move, remove, and set up furniture and equipment for special functions.
• Additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Part-time custodians: 10-12 rooms; Full-time custodians: 12-20 rooms (varies by school).
