PMM Companies is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Temporary Floor Maintenance Technician / General Cleaner to join our team. The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness across the premises to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and guests.

Responsibilities include cleaning duties, restroom disinfection, waste disposal, restocking supplies, and operating floor cleaning equipment. Prior experience with walk-behind scrubbers, burnishers, and buffers is required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating commercial floor maintenance equipment (walk-behind scrubbers, burnishers, buffers).
• Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Comfort with lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties across the facility, including sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming.
• Disinfect restrooms and sanitize surfaces such as desks and door handles.
• Empty trash and recycling and restock cleaning supplies as needed.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including vacuums and floor scrubbers.
• Assist with events or meetings cleanup and setup.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to Facilities Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming all areas of the facility.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures.
• Empty and dispose of trash and recycling bins regularly.
• Wipe down and sanitize surfaces, such as desks, countertops, and door handles.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and floor scrubbers.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Facilities Manager.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning up after events or meetings.
• Follow established safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning tasks.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry up to 25 to 50 pounds.
