Job summary

PMM Companies is seeking a reliable Temporary Floor Maintenance Technician / General Cleaner to join our team. The role focuses on keeping our facility clean and safe, with emphasis on attention to detail and adherence to hygiene standards.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, restroom sanitation, restocking supplies, operating floor cleaning equipment, and assisting with event setups. Prior experience with walk-behind scrubbers and buffers is required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating commercial floor maintenance equipment.
• Must be able to lift 25–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming all areas of the facility.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures.
• Empty and dispose of trash and recycling bins regularly.
• Wipe down and sanitize surfaces such as desks and door handles.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners and floor scrubbers.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to Facilities Manager.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning after events or meetings.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to hygiene standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
