This position ensures floors are clean, safe, and presentable by performing routine and specialized floor care services, including stripping, waxing, buffing, polishing, and carpet maintenance.## Essential Duties and Responsibilities* Sweep, mop, dust, and clean hard surface floors.* Strip, wax, seal, and refinish floors as needed.* Operate and maintain floor care equipment, including burnishers, buffers, scrubbers, and extractors.* Shampoo, spot clean, and extract carpets.* Perform high-speed buffing and polishing of floors.* Remove stains, scuffs, and marks from flooring surfaces.* Clean and maintain tile, vinyl, terrazzo, concrete, and other floor types.* Follow safety procedures when handling chemicals and equipment.* Maintain inventory of floor care supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.* Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and equipment malfunctions.* Ensure assigned work areas meet cleanliness and appearance standards.* Assist with general custodial duties as required.
