Boston Baby Nurses LLC seeks an experienced, discreet Nanny/Family Assistant for a long-term role supporting two preschoolers and household needs on the South Shore, MA. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–2:30 PM with competitive pay and paid time off.

The ideal candidate is organized, calm, and proactive, with private-family experience, strong references, and a commitment to privacy. Must have a valid license and CPR/First Aid.

Qualifikationen

• At least 21 years old.
• 3+ years of professional childcare experience.
• Experience with preschool-age children required.
• Previous experience with private, high-net-worth or high-profile families strongly preferred.
• Discretion and respect for family privacy; willingness to sign a confidentiality agreement.
• Experience working with multi-staff households (nannies, housekeepers, vendors).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• CPR & First Aid certified.
• Non-smoker.
• Strong references from prior private-family employers.
• Exceptional reliability and punctuality; capable of consistent coverage.
• Professional, calm, and able to integrate into a family's routine.

Aufgaben

• Support the children's daily routine, including preschool prep.
• Prepare breakfast for the children and occasionally for parents.
• Assist with dressing, teeth brushing, hair and getting ready for the day.
• Drive children to preschool as needed.
• Provide a calm, organized presence during daily transitions.

• Communicate clearly with parents and ensure smooth handoffs to the afternoon nanny.
• Complete children's and family laundry and assist with simple family meals.

Responsibilities

Childcare Duties

• Support the children's daily routine, including helping them get ready for preschool
• Prepare breakfast for the children and occasionally for parents
• Assist with getting children dressed, brushing teeth, hair, and preparing for the day
• Drive children to preschool (a short drive) as needed
• Provide a calm and organized presence during daily transitions
• Support age-appropriate activities and encourage independence and development
• Communicate clearly with parents and ensure a smooth afternoon handoff to the afternoon nanny

Family Assistant Duties

• Complete children's/family laundry
• Assist with simple family meal preparation
• Help with household organization and maintaining systems
• Take the family dog out in the afternoon
• Coordinate respectfully with other household staff and vendors
