Job summary

Tenvoorde Ford in Minnesota is looking for a full-time Experienced Detailer to keep vehicles looking their best. You will clean interiors and exteriors to spec, operate washers, vacuums, buffers, and assist in delivering vehicles to correct locations.

The role requires 1–2 years of detailing experience, a valid driver's license, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Expect a 40-hour week with some Saturday shifts and opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors to company standards.

• Apply cleaning and protective agents to maintain appearance.
• Move, park and deliver vehicles as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

What does a Detailer do?

• Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with all company standards and client requests
• Operate power washer, air hoses, vacuums, buffer and other equipment to meet service expectations.
• Use cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles.
• Move, park and deliver vehicles to correct locations.
• Other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Strong ability to follow directions.
• Listen, learn and follow the process.
• Must have strong attention to details.
• Must have a positive attitude.
• Ability to contribute to a fun team atmosphere
• 1-2 years detail experience
• 40hr FT available shift 7:00AM - 3:30PM, including some Saturday shifts.

• Be prepared to work approximately 40 hours per week full time.
• Team players only! You will work with multiple departments and many different people so you need to be able to communicate effectively with many people.
• Know your work makes a difference! Your work supports sales and gives customers satisfaction. First impressions of a clean vehicle will make or break sales.
• You will have support! We have a veteran staff to teach, assist and train new skills.
• You may be asked to perform other duties. With additional responsibilities comes additional pay.
• Must be adaptive to and embrace change.
• Be prepared to do physical work. You may lift up to 40lbs with larger chemical containers.
