Job summary

Smith Ford is seeking an Automotive Detailer to keep vehicles on the lot and in customer delivery pristine. You will perform interior and exterior detailing to uphold our quality standards and support both the service and sales teams as needed.

No prior detailing experience is required; a strong eye for detail, work ethic, and a positive attitude are essential. Competitive pay and on-the-job training are offered in a collaborative local team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in detailing or car wash is a plus but not required.
• High standard of cleanliness and quality in work.
• Punctual, reliable, physically active, and able to work in various weather conditions.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Clean, wash, wax, vacuum, and detail customer vehicles and dealership inventory (new and pre-owned).
• Clean upholstery, carpets, dashboards, windows, and interior surfaces thoroughly.
• Inspect completed vehicles to ensure they meet Smith Ford's high quality standards before customer delivery or lot placement.
• Move vehicles safely around the dealership lot and service bays as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, equipment, and shop environment.
• Assist the service and sales teams with general shop maintenance and vehicle prep work as requested.

Position Overview

As an Automotive Detailer at Smith Ford, you will be responsible for ensuring every vehicle on our lot and delivering to our customers looks its best. From thorough interior cleaning to full exterior washes, your work will directly impact our customer satisfaction and brand reputation.
