Job summary

Luther Park Community is seeking a customer focused dietary supervisor to ensure the highest quality, appealing meals for residents, guests, visitors and employees at Trinity Center. The role supports dementia care initiatives with attentive meal service, special events and ongoing staff training.

Responsibilities include guiding the team, scheduling, food orders, weekly audits, and maintaining safety and confidentiality in a supportive healthcare dining environment.

Qualifications

• Must have two years of food production experience, healthcare foodservice preferred.
• Must be able to read, write & understand the English language.
• Able to safely and consistently complete tasks that are physically demanding.
• Must follow all safety procedures.
• Participate in the on call rotation.
• Assist in hiring, training, coaching evaluating staff and completing discipline when warranted.
• Assists with orders.
• Multi-task and/or manage time effectively to meet expectation and deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident health information.
• Ensure highest quality, appealing meals served at desired temps, properly portioned, recipes followed, diets honored choices offered stepping in to assist and/or train as needed.

Thedietary team supports this mission through superior meal time service, regularactivity and sporadic healthy snack options, special holiday meals, cateredevents, Board of Director functions and employee appreciation meals. It is themission of the Dietary Department to serve all who enter the Luther ParkCommunity with kindness and quality.

The dietary supervisor isresponsible for guiding the team to ensure the highest quality, appealing mealsare served to our customers. This position will assist with catering events forthe community as well as prepare staff schedules, ordering food and supplies,performing weekly audits to ensure cleaning, temperature, sanitation andmaintenance logs are accurate and complete.

Requirements:
