Job summary

Benedictine is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our compassionate care team, performing assessments, care planning, interventions, and evaluations to maintain high standards of nursing practice. This role requires current RN licensure, strong organization and communication skills, and the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Education for residents and families is a key duty, along with ensuring quality care across the unit.

Qualifications

• Must hold current state licensure as a RN in good standing.
• Possess organization skills to assess, plan, implement and evaluate resident care.
• Have excellent communication skills with residents, families and team members.
• Be able to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a plan of care based on assessment and diagnosis tailored to each resident.
• Demonstrate knowledge of medications and their correct administration.
• Plan for and provide resident, family and caregiver education.

This position is based on the principles of integrated nursing, and includes performing assessments, care planning, interventions, evaluations, and maintaining standards of professional nursing.
