Care Initiatives, Marshalltown-based provider of long-term care, is hiring a Cook to contribute to menu planning, meal preparation, and dining experiences for residents. You will follow nutritional guidelines, work within safety standards, and support quality of life through nutritious meals.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in quantity food preparation and service.
• Willingness to complete training in Food Safety, Sanitation and Modified Diets.
• Healthcare dietary experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to menu planning and meal preparation, meeting nutritional guidelines and resident preferences.
• Prepare and serve meals that are nutritious, well balanced and attractively presented.
• Develop positive, respectful relationships with residents by engaging with them and incorporating feedback into meal service.
