Job Title: FT - Day Porter - Station Ridge - Hanover, MD

Join PMM Companies as a Day Porter. This full-time position offers a pay range of $16.35/hr. The schedule is from Monday to Friday, 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm.

Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Day Porter who can communicate effectively in English. Janitorial experience is required. Responsibilities include cleaning buildings, removing debris, maintaining neat and tidy areas, vacuuming, buffing floors, shampooing carpets, emptying trash, and replacing trash liners.

Primary Responsibilities

• Cleaning outside grounds
• Sweeping and mopping floors
• Emptying trash and cleaning surfaces inside buildings
• Monitoring building security and safety (locking doors, checking electrical appliances)
• Steam-cleaning carpets
• Using cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces
• Mixing cleaning agents
• Cleaning windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
• Dusting furniture and scrubbing surfaces
• Applying wax and sealant to floors and buffing
• Cleaning and servicing restrooms with disinfectants
• Performing light maintenance (e.g., changing light bulbs)
• Responding to tenant or management requests as needed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
