Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse for West Tennessee State Penitentiary in Henning, Tennessee. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under supervision of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff.

Requirements include TN LPN licensure or the ability to obtain it, current CPR, and the ability to obtain a security clearance with drug screen and background check. Shift runs day hours with rotating weekends; comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• LPN license in TN or ability to obtain licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Corrections experience not required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance including drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the appropriate scope of practice.
• Work under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical and psychiatric staff to respond to physical and mental health needs.
