Join to apply for the FT Customer Experience Manager role at Michaels Stores.

Store - CHI- Crystal Lake, IL

Deliver a customer-centric shopping experience by managing front-end operations, leading omnichannel processes, and maintaining store recovery standards to uphold Brand Promises. Provide friendly customer service.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Assisting Store Manager in ensuring compliance with SOPs, policies, and standards; managing store conditions and results.
  2. Following all front-end policies; achieving KPIs and managing team performance.
  3. Planning and executing in-store events.
  4. Leading omnichannel initiatives.
  5. Managing shrink and safety programs.
  6. Assisting with cash reconciliation, inventory, and onboarding new team members.
  7. Training and coaching the customer experience team; participating in performance management; supporting talent development.
  8. Serving as Manager on Duty (MOD).
  9. Promoting a respectful, positive environment; exemplifying the organization’s values.
  10. Providing customer assistance and solutions.
  11. Participating in truck unloading, stocking, and cross-training in Custom Framing.

Additional responsibilities may include leading high-quality custom framing solutions in stores without a Framing Manager.

Preferred skills include retail management experience. Physical requirements involve standing, moving, lifting, and working in a climate-controlled environment, with some outdoor work and work hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings.
