Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Health Florence Medical Center is seeking a FT CT/X-Ray/IR Technologist to join our radiology team. You will perform CT/X-ray/IR procedures under the direction of the Radiologist and Radiology Director, operating sophisticated equipment while delivering patient-centered care to a diverse population.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT registration, SC licensure, and BLS current.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• One year of radiologic experience.
• ARRT registration and SC Radiation Quality Standards Association licensure; current BLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT/X-ray/IR procedures under the Radiologist and Radiology Director/Supervisor.
• Operate sophisticated radiology equipment with high technical skill.
• Provide patient care appropriate for all demographics and follow departmental policies.

Job Description

FT CT/X-Ray/IR Technologist , under the direction of the Radiologist and Radiology Director/Supervisor, performs procedures in accordance with ACR, ARRT, state regulations, and departmental policies. Possesses highly technical skills to operate sophisticated equipment for the above-mentioned examinations. The Technologist must exhibit expertise in patient care based on needs appropriate for all patient demographics. Other duties as deemed necessary.

• Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• One year of radiologic experience.
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
• MRI/CT Experience is preferred but not required. On the Job training to learn MRI/CT available
