Job summary

Ernest Health, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Cook for Greenwood Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Greenwood, SC.

You will prepare healthy meals for patients, staff and visitors in a hospital kitchen, following safety standards. The role requires a Food Handlers License and a high school diploma or equivalent; you will work with a team of dietary and clinical staff to support patient nourishment and infection control.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent in education or experience required.
• Food Handlers License required.
• Knowledge of patient diets and safe food handling requirements and use of Nutritional Care Manual.
• Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
• Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide healthy food for patients, employees, and visitors.
