Job summary

The Arc of Centre County is hiring Full Time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD/A) in group homes in Bellefonte, PA. Paid training is provided, with no prior experience required, opening a rewarding career in human services.

You will help with daily living activities, monitor wellbeing, and support independence while building meaningful connections in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 pounds.
• TB test and physical required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to adults with IDD/A in residential group homes

Job Title: Residential Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Pay: $18/hour + Shift Differentials + $1,200 Sign-on Bonus

Location: Bellefonte (Zion)

Schedule: Full-Time

No Experience Needed (all training is paid!)

Schedule & Pay

• Starting at $18/hr
• $1,200 sign-on/stay-on bonus
• Additional $1/hr for late nights, weekends, and holidays (differentials can stack!)
• Opportunities to pick up extra shifts and overtime

Required Qualifications

• 18+ years of age

• Valid driver's license (agency vehicles provided for community outings)
• TB test and physical
• Able to lift 50 pounds & assist with physical supports such as lifting, bending, standing, etc.

• Experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism (IDD/A)
• Experience in direct care, caregiving, behavioral health, or healthcare
