Job summary

Discovery Senior Living is seeking a Full-Time Night Shift Caregiver at The Forum at The Woodlands to provide hands-on care and support to residents in a safe, home-like environment. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor well‑being, and respond promptly to calls.

The role emphasizes compassionate, resident‑focused care, clear communication with staff, and maintaining a clean, organized living area. A CNA is preferred; 18+ and experience with seniors are welcomed.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Prior experience with seniors preferred.
• Strong communication with residents, teams and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for designated group of residents during shift; ensures awareness of whereabouts and conducts frequent checks.
• Provide daily personal care support, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, and eating assistance.
• Respond to security system and resident call bells promptly.
• Help residents maintain independence while promoting dignity, safety, and overall well‑being.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and work areas.
• Offer companionship, encouragement, and emotional support to residents.
• Engage residents in meaningful life skills activities and enrichment programs.
• Notify supervisor and/or health care coordinator if a resident has increased care needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Role

As the Caregiver, your role includes providing hands‑on care and physical and emotional support to each resident while maintaining a safe and comfortable home‑like environment.

Position Highlights

• Status: Full Time
• Schedule: 4 on and two off
• Location: 5055 West Panther Creek Dr. The Woodlands, TX 77381
• Rate of Pay: Starting pay $13.90
