In South Congress Hotel, Café No Sé is a sunny, all-day café featuring California-inspired American dining. The café serves seasonal brunch, dinner & dessert and is frequented by in-house guests and South Congress neighborhood locals alike.

What you'll do:

  1. Maintain a high level of cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant including counters, tables, floors, shelves, storage areas, etc.
  2. Remove dishes and glassware from tables or counters and bring them to the kitchen for cleaning
  3. Clean and properly sanitize tables or counters after guests have finished dining
  4. Reset tables with proper set-up including plates, utensils, linen, etc. as needed
  5. Clean drink spills, sweep and properly dispose of broken glass
  6. Polish clean dishes, utensils, and glassware before returning them to their proper place in the dining room
  7. Assist with table set-up and break-down to accommodate reservations
  8. Clean and stock washrooms and work areas according to standards
  9. Ensure immediate response is given to guest comments and concerns; inform immediate supervisor and apply corrective measures when necessary
  10. Maintain a high level of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in the work area
  11. Ensure that all equipment is maintained in good, safe working condition

Who you are:

  • You have State-issued food handling + beverage certifications as required.
  • You are able to speak effectively before guests and groups of co-workers.
  • You are able to navigate and operate computer and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
