Position Overview:

This role involves maintaining a high-energy, positive environment, demonstrating behaviors that support client-centric service, driving store performance, fostering superior client service, and maintaining operational excellence. The Assistant Store Manager manages and supervises the Makery to meet company goals, leads by example, and ensures an exceptional client experience.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage daily operations of the Makery in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example in creating a client-centric experience, meeting sales expectations, and producing quality products.
• Maintain a professional and clean Makery environment.
• Set clear goals and objectives for team members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve performance.
• Manage stock of raw materials, finished products, and supplies.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with other managerial functions.
• Assist the Store Manager in controlling revenue and expenses.
• Work nights and weekends as required.
• Expected work schedule is approximately 35 hours per week, five days a week.

Experience & Qualifications:

• College education preferred but not required.
• Management and/or sales experience preferred.
• Effective communication skills at all levels.
• Leadership qualities, skilled in training and motivation.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Not sensitive to scents and fragrances.
• Dexterity of hands and fingers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform cleaning functions such as dusting, sweeping, and mopping.
