This position is responsible for maintaining a high energy, positive environment, supporting client-centric service, driving store performance, and maintaining operational excellence. The Assistant Store Manager manages and supervises the Makery to meet company goals, leads by example, and fosters a sense of urgency to achieve objectives.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and manage daily operations of the Makery in a fast-paced environment.
2. Lead by example in creating a client-centric experience, meeting sales expectations, and producing quality products.
3. Maintain a professional and clean Makery environment.
4. Set clear goals and objectives for team members.
5. Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve performance.
6. Manage stock of raw materials, finished products, and supplies.
7. Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with other managerial functions.
8. Assist the Store Manager in controlling revenue and expenses.
9. Work nights & weekends as needed.
10. Expect to work five days per week, approximately 35 hours depending on status.

Experience:

• College education preferred but not required.
• Management and/or sales experience preferred.
• Effective communication skills at all levels.
• Leadership, motivation, and training skills desired.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Not sensitive to scents and fragrances.
• Dexterity of hands and fingers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform cleaning functions like dusting, sweeping, mopping, etc.
