Primary Purpose

Assist in managing department operations to meet financial and sales goals. Build relations with associates and customers and promote a strong culture aligned with Hannaford Strategy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Understanding of store operations and merchandising preferred.
• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to lead and manage a team.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Must meet minimum age requirements.

Physical Requirements

• Use of computers and communication systems.
• Stand and walk continuously.
• Lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 75 lbs occasionally.
• Reach shoulder level or above while lifting.
• Frequent bending, reaching, grasping, lifting produce items.
• Tolerate working in cold temperatures for up to 20 minutes.
• Operate controls, feel objects, and use tools.
• Handle various substances related to cleaning, packaging, and food products.
• Meet department activity standards.

Salary range: $18.95 - $27.25/hr
