The main responsibilities include entering orders, scheduling work and production, supervising and training team members, receiving, storing, and stocking items, checking dates, changing pricing for items going out of code, and performing all department tasks as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties at shift start.
2. Perform markdowns and track losses.
3. Operate all equipment related to deli, carryout, cafe, and cheese departments.
4. Clean and sanitize work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors, and counters.
5. Prepare sandwiches, subs, and wraps, label, and display them according to SOP.
6. Make pizza, cook using the turbo oven, cut, package, and serve to customers.
7. Assist customers, cut and slice meats or cheeses, portion, weigh, and label deli items.
8. Produce items for the grab-and-go case.
9. Roast and package chicken, fry chicken, and label accordingly.
10. Order and demonstrate smoked program if applicable.
11. Clean equipment regularly, track and record loss, and perform recordkeeping functions.
12. Organize sales floor cooler and freezer, plan weekly circular ad, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
13. Follow safety rules, report accidents, and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand safety regulations.
• Complete food safety certification every 5 years and train new team members.
• Meet ergonomic, physical, and performance standards, including attendance.
• Learn to operate necessary equipment and tools.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum 4-hour shifts, with physical demands including lifting up to 55 lbs., standing for 55%, walking 45%, and exposure to temperature extremes.

Preferred Requirements

Understanding of company policies and procedures as outlined in the manual and handbook.
