The primary responsibilities include entering orders, scheduling work and production, supervising and training team members, receiving, storing, and stocking items, checking dates, changing pricing of out-of-code items, and performing all departmental tasks as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties at shift start.
  2. Perform markdowns and track loss.
  3. Operate all equipment related to the deli, carryout, café, and cheese departments.
  4. Clean and sanitize work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors, and counters.
  5. Prepare sandwiches, subs, wraps, and display as per SOP.
  6. Make pizza using the turbo oven, package, and serve to customers.
  7. Assist customers with meat or cheese cutting, portioning, weighing, and labeling.
  8. Produce items for the grab-and-go case.
  9. Roast and package chicken, including cleaning equipment and managing oil disposal.
  10. Prepare fried chicken, including battering, frying, wrapping, and labeling.
  11. Order and train on smoked program if applicable.
  12. Clean equipment regularly and organize sales floor and stock.
  13. Track loss and perform recordkeeping (temperature logs, sanitation logs, etc.).
  14. Follow safety rules, report incidents, and maintain a safe work environment.
  15. Adhere to company policies on apparel, footwear, and safety procedures.
  16. Complete necessary training (Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Right-to-Know, ELM courses).
Qualifications
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to understand and communicate company policies and safety regulations.
  • Complete food safety certification every 5 years and train new team members.
  • Meet ergonomic, physical, and performance standards, including attendance.
  • Ability to operate necessary equipment and tools.
Physical Requirements
  • Minimum 4-hour shifts, with physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs., standing 55%, walking 45%, and exposure to varying temperatures.
Preferred Requirements

Understanding of company policies and procedures as outlined in manuals and handbooks.
