Job summary

Cypress Woods Care Center in Angleton, TX is seeking a full-time Licensed Vocational Nurse for the AM shift (6 AM–6 PM) to provide direct nursing care and oversee nursing assistants. The role requires adherence to federal, state, and local regulations and collaboration with the Nursing Director to maintain high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Current LVN license and eligibility to work in Texas.
• Experience in long-term care or nursing supervision preferred.
• Ability to supervise nursing assistants and coordinate care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities of nursing assistants.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and maintain nursing documentation and reports.
• Coordinate with the Nurse Supervisor and Director of Nursing.
