Acadia Healthcare's Wilmington Treatment Center in Wilmington, NC is hiring a FT Admissions/Intake RN to manage the admissions workflow, review referrals and coordinate with physicians. The role requires strong clinical accuracy and collaboration with hospital and community partners.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package and competitive hourly rates ($36–$40) with shift differentials up to $6 and weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum of one year of clinical/observational experience.
• Active nursing license in the state.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.
• First aid certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Review medical documentation for admissions and reconcile medications.
• Facilitate admissions process and obtain admission orders.
• Review referrals and assess medical/behavioral acuity.
• Respond to inquiries and provide facility information.
• Conduct pre-admission assessments and determine level of care.
• Coordinate care with medical/psychiatric staff for admissions.
• Complete documentation for payor authorization and pre-authorization.
