Twin Oaks Assisted Living in Williamsport, Maryland is seeking a Medication Technician to join our team. We are searching for a caring, warm-hearted Med Tech who is searching for an opportunity to do meaningful work, an opportunity to put a personal touch on improving the lives of others.

The Medication Technician assists the licensed nurse (RN/LPN) in providing safe and ethical care for the residents, administering prescribed drugs, and completing other delegated nursing tasks allowed by state

Competenze

• Maryland Medication Technician Certification in good standing.

Mansioni

• Deliver routine daily medications under direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Document medication administration and observe residents for drug interactions and report any problem to the nurse.
• Perform tasks associated with medication administration, including patient vital signs, calculate medication dosages and stock the medication cart.
• Assist the nurse in providing care to the residents, including observation and reporting of resident needs.
• Respond to resident call lights and provide ADLs.

The Medication Technician assists the licensed nurse (RN/LPN) in providing safe and ethical care for the residents, administering prescribed drugs, and completing other delegated nursing tasks allowed by state law:

• Delivering routine daily medications, either prescription or non-prescription to patients under direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Document medication administration and observe residents for drug interactions and report any problem to the nurse.
• Performs tasks associated with medication administration, including patient vital signs, calculate medication dosages and stock the medication cart.
• Assists the nurse in providing care to the residents, which includes observation and reporting of resident needs.
• Respond to resident call lights and provide ADL's

Qualifications:

Must have current Maryland Medication Technician Certification in good standing.
