Job summary

Work Skills Corporation is seeking a caregiver to help clients maintain independence and quality of life in their homes. You will provide one-on-one care, prepare meals, and assist with light housekeeping to ensure a comfortable, safe living environment.

You will also accompany clients to appointments and activities, helping create a less stressful daily routine while delivering compassionate support and reliability.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience or related field preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodations.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Dog-friendly individual

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, one-on-one care tailored to the client's needs.
• Prepare meals, light housekeeping, and help maintain a safe home.
• Accompany the client to appointments or outings as needed.
• Assist with daily tasks to create a smoother routine.

This role is more than providing care; it’s about improving the quality of life for an individual. You'll play an important role in helping our clients maintain independence.

Shift Availability (Must be able to work all days):

• Monday 3p-9p
• Tuesday 3p-9p
• Thursday 3p-9p
• Friday 9a-5p
• Rotating weekends 3pm-9pm

What You'll Do:

• Provide compassionate, one-on-one care tailored to the client's individual needs.
• Prepare meals, perform light housekeeping, and help maintain a safe, comfortable home.
• Accompany the client into the community for appointments or outings as needed.
• Assist with household tasks by helping create a less stressful daily routine.

We're Looking for Someone Who Is:

• Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Dog- Friendly individual
• ***Reliable personal vehicle with proof of auto insurance***
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (reasonable accommodations available)
• 6 Months of Caregiving experience or related field
