Job description

Position Summary:

The FCCP is a home-based prevention program that assists families with connections to services within their local community and the state. The FCCP aims to prevent family involvement with the child welfare system by supporting families in resolving crises and strengthening their protective capacities. This role provides operational leadership to the West Urban FCCP program, working in collaboration with the Department of Children, Youth and Families, other FSRI programs, and West Urban FCCP partners to achieve program initiatives and desired outcomes. The role ensures compliance with quality standards, federal, state, and administrative laws and regulations, and adherence to all accreditation requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Master’s degree and an independent level mental health license (LICSW, LMHC, etc.) plus 5 years of program management experience.
  • Must become certified at the Wrap Coach level within 1 year of hire.
  • Experience with operational planning and management, personnel, project and conflict management, development, implementation, and evaluation of performance metrics, and budget oversight.
  • Highly advanced critical thinking skills, creativity, flexibility in meeting changing priorities; ability to think broadly and in detail; keen attention to detail; comfortable with resolving obstacles to improvement and goals.
  • Experience working with external relationships and governmental agencies.
  • Ability to positively influence personnel and programs towards positive outcomes.
  • Experience working with a multi-cultural service and employee population.
  • Bilingual skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
  • Multilingual skills are compensated by an additional 8%, above base pay.
Physical Requirements:
  • Travel to and from clients’ residences, community locations, and office sites, which may include walking, stairs, and elevators.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Effective communication skills.
