Job summary

Family Service of Rhode Island (FSRI) seeks a clinical supervisor to oversee residential program services for youth aged 13-20. You will supervise clinicians, ensure trauma-informed care, and maintain fidelity to the TST model through training and program development.

The role may involve carrying clinical cases and providing emergency crisis intervention as needed, contributing to continuous program improvement and collaboration with state agencies.

Qualifications

• LICSW, LMHC or LMFT required.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and auto insurance.
• Bilingual/ASL and multilingual skills are rewarded with extra compensation.

Position Summary: Responsible for the oversight of clinical services in the Residential programs. FSRI has 4 residential intervention programs (Semi-Independent and Assessment & Stabilization) that serve youth ages 13-20. Provides supervision and management to clinicians across the programs. Ensures high quality evidence based and trauma informed care that meets resident’s needs and contractual standards. Ensures fidelity to the TST model through training, supervision, and program development. Builds and maintains positive relationships with the Department of Children, Youth and Families. Assists Residential Administration with continuous program development, implementation and improvement. Carries clinical cases as necessary. Provides emergency crisis intervention/assessment as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• LICSW, LMHC or LMFT required.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and auto insurance a must.
• Bilingual/ASL skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
• Multilingual skills are compensated by an additional 8%, above base pay.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position requires residential and community visits, employees in this position must have the ability to:

• Travel to and from community locations and residential site locations, which could include using walkways, stairs and/or elevators.
• Ability to utilize a computer and Electronic Medical Record to complete documentation.
• Ability to lift up to 20lbs.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to push or pull 10 lbs or more
• Ability to pick up 10 lbs or more
• Ability to perform physical intervention if clients present a threat to themselves or others.
