Job summary

Signature Retail Services is hiring a Part-Time Route Merchandising Associate in the Asheville, NC market. The position offers a flexible schedule of about 25 hours per week with starting pay of $17.00-$19.00 per hour, plus paid training and drive-time reimbursement.

You'll travel to Home Depot, Lowe's and other stores to merchandise, build displays, execute planograms, and complete in-store audits within Asheville and surrounding areas. Prior merchandising experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and legally allowed to work in the United States.
• Access to a reliable personal vehicle for store visits within territory.
• A valid driver's license and current auto insurance with you listed as insured.
• Smartphone with phone, text, email and internet access for daily reporting.
• Previous merchandising experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Travel independently throughout assigned territory to service Big-Box stores.
• Conduct store audits, merchandise products, and maintain planogram compliance.
• Install price labels, POP materials, fixtures and displays.
• Down-stock merchandise and keep shelves stocked and customer-ready.
• Check inventory levels with store personnel and place product orders as needed.
• Be the go-to product expert for store associates and customers.
• Represent Signature Retail Services professionally in every store visit.
• Manage schedule to ensure visits and projects are completed on time.
• Communicate attendance, scheduling, or any issues promptly.

Part- Time Merchandising Associate

Signature Retail Services is hiring a Part-Time Route Merchandising Associate in our Asheville, NC market! This role offers the flexible schedule of approximately 25 hours/ week and a starting pay rate of $17.00 - $19.00/ hour. No experience necessary- we provide paid, hands‑on training to set you up for success on our team.

As a (FSR) Route Merchandising Associate, you'll independently travel to and service Big-Box Home Improvement stores, such as The Home Depot and Lowe's to merchandise, build displays, execute planograms, complete in-store survey audits, support seasonal resets, and help keep stores looking their best. Your Territory

This position services store locations in Asheville, Arden, Hendersonville, Weaverville, and surrounding areas. Regular travel to assigned stores within the route is essential for this role.

What You'll Do

• Travel independently throughout your assigned territory using your personal vehicle to service store locations.
• Conduct store audits, execute product resets, merchandise products, and maintain planogram compliance.
• Install price labels, point-of-purchase materials, fixtures, and displays.
• Down‑stock merchandise, maintain shelf conditions, and keep products fully stocked and customer‑ready.
• Partner with store personnel to check inventory levels, flag replenishment needs, and place product orders as needed.
• Be the go‑to product expert for store associates and customers.
• Represent Signature Retail Services and our client partners professionally in every store you visit.
• Manage your schedule so visits and projects are completed on time, every time.
• Communicate promptly about attendance, scheduling, or anything that could affect a store visit.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be 18 or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Located within approximately 30 minutes of the listed territory.
• A valid driver's license and current auto insurance, with you listed as an insured driver.
• Access to a reliable personal vehicle to travel between store locations on your route.
• A smartphone with phone, text, email, and internet access for daily communication and reporting.
• Previous merchandising experience is a plus but not required - we offer paid weekday training for motivated candidates.
• This is a physically active role that requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, and climbing rolling staircases or step ladders to retrieve and stock products. You'll also regularly lift and move products or materials weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
