Job Details:
Summary:

This position is responsible for performing physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems, documenting and calculating results accurately; taking corrective action when necessary (alert appropriate personnel to adjust process; identify, segregate, & isolate non-conforming product) and report results to management; any additional assignments requested. All team members are responsible for safety, including personal safety and food safety.

Requirements:
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in the Fresh Meats industry or other QA-related experience.
  • Communication Skills: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Special Skills: Ability to complete Tyson paperwork; lead by example; motivate the workforce; problem-solving skills; math and organizational skills; interpret product specifications; function well under stress; flexible to work where and when needed.
  • Physical Requirements: Heavy lifting involved (70 lbs. or more).

  • No supervisory or travel requirements.
