Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a FSQA Technician for the Shelbyville Plant to ensure top-tier food safety and quality. You will inspect products and plant systems, document results, and take corrective actions to address non-conforming items.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in food manufacturing or QA, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs in a fast-paced environment. This 2nd shift role requires flexibility and resilience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in food manufacturing or related QA.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in variable temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems.
• Document and calculate results accurately.
• Take corrective action and alert personnel to adjust processes.
• Identify, segregate, and isolate non-conforming products and report results.
