Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking an FSQA Tech to uphold the highest standards of food safety and quality at our Tennessee facility. This role requires lifting up to 75 lbs, standing for long periods, and adherence to safety protocols.

You will perform physical and visual inspections, document results, and take corrective actions as needed, supporting the hourly workforce and reporting results to management. The position is on 2nd shift and entails strict safety and quality responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in the food manufacturing industry or related QA experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performing physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems.
• Documenting and calculating results accurately.
• Taking corrective action when necessary, such as alerting appropriate personnel to adjust processes, identifying, segregating, and isolating non-conforming products, and reporting results to management.
• Handling additional assignments as requested.
