Job Details:

This position is responsible for conducting thorough physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems. Key responsibilities include accurately documenting and calculating results, taking corrective actions when necessary (such as alerting appropriate personnel to adjust processes, identifying, segregating, and isolating non-conforming products), and reporting results to management. Additional assignments may be requested. All team members are responsible for ensuring both personal and food safety.

Requirements:

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Fresh Meats industry or other QA-related experience preferred, but not required.

Communication Skills:

  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Special Skills:

  • Proficient in completing Tyson paperwork.
  • Ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce.
  • Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills.
  • Good math and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
  • Must perform well under stress.
  • Flexibility to work where and when needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Position involves heavy lifting (70 lbs or more).
