Job summary

JBS USA Perry, IA is seeking a FSQA Systems Manager to oversee all facility‑wide food safety documentation, regulatory programs, and compliance records. You will verify HACCP, SSOP, and SQF systems to keep the site audit-ready for USDA/FSIS inspections and third‑party reviews.

You will lead recordkeeping, process verification, and continuous improvement of quality systems while partnering with operations and QA leadership to uphold JBS’s food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in food science or related field; equivalent experience acceptable.
• 3–5 years of progressive FSQA experience in meat or food manufacturing with HACCP knowledge.
• Experience with SQF or other GFSI schemes and regulatory audits preferred.
• Knowledge of USDA/FSIS regulations, GMPs, sanitation, and microbiology principles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain FSQA systems, HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs, SQF docs and prerequisite programs for regulatory compliance.
• Serve as primary contact for USDA/FSIS and third‑party audit documentation; support on‑site audits.
• Document control for FSQA procedures, training records, and QA metrics.
• Lead data analysis and reporting of FSQA performance and trends for leadership review.
• Support continuous improvement and corrective action across operations and QA.
