Job summary

A leading company in food and beverage services is seeking an FSQA Supervisor for Night Shift. The successful candidate will supervise QA processes, ensuring product quality and conformance to specifications. This role requires a strong background in quality assurance, management experience, and solid analytical skills to uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of QA-related experience or equivalent education.
  • Knowledge of Food Safety/Security auditing procedures including GMPs and HACCP preferred.
  • ISO background preferred.

  • Supervise QA shift employees and direct their daily work processes.
  • Perform Quality Assurance testing and maintain quality assurance standards.
  • Manage the Allied product testing program and participate in cupping process.

Job description

Join to apply for the FSQA Supervisor - Sanitation Nights role at Westrock Coffee Company.

This position will interface with Manufacturing, Product Development, Global Sourcing, and other departments within the company. The successful candidate will have experience with Food Preservation techniques and Better Process Control.

  • Supervise QA shift employees and direct their daily work processes.
  • Ensure conformance to specifications for all finished products.
  • Perform Quality Assurance testing, record results, and complete required paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Develop sensory capabilities to distinguish differences in flavors of various coffee samples.
  • Maintain quality assurance standards and procedures, including testing procedures, data collection, and product traceability.
  • Analyze problems related to out-of-tolerance quality, rejects, and inadequate control.
  • Write or refine policies and procedures related to quality control programs.
  • Manage the Allied product testing program, including organoleptic evaluation of various products.
  • Participate actively in the cupping process and evaluation of product quality.
  • Serve as ISO Internal Audit Coordinator and perform other ISO duties as assigned.
  • Assist in risk analysis, ISO, SQF, and customer audits.
  • Assist with root cause analysis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Shift: 12 Hour Night

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS required, preferably in a science discipline.
  • Two to five years of QA-related experience preferred or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience with Food Safety/Security auditing procedures including GMPs, Pest Control, Bio-Terrorism knowledge, and HACCP certification preferred.
  • ISO background preferred.
  • Ability to manage and motivate personnel.
  • Strong initiative and proactive issue anticipation.
  • Sound math and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Competent computer skills.
