Job summary

US Foods is seeking an FSQA Supervisor to develop and implement food safety and quality policies for repack operations. You will provide technical support to Distribution Centers and coordinate internal audits for GFSI certification.

The role involves leading EMP activities, enforcing GMPs and regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvements in sanitation and food safety culture across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Postharvest Physiology, or related field.
• 3+ years minimum experience in a Quality Assurance Supervisor function.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in food safety, quality or regulatory compliance.
• 3+ years minimum experience in a Food Processing environment; produce experience preferred.
• HACCP certification required; PCQI preferred (or within 90 days).
• EMP experience required; forklift certification preferred (willing to become certified).
• State and Federal regulation knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP); analyze results and trend deviations.
• Provide technical guidance on food safety, quality, and regulatory systems.
• Enforce GMP, USDA, state/local and DOL policies; ensure hygiene practices.
• Assist regulatory visits and respond to non-compliance records.
• Prepare for audits and ensure effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Manage sanitation program and implement improvements.
• Review packing lists and ensure proper labeling and safety procedures.
• Ensure staff follow repack procedures and maintain product quality.
