Job summary

Tovala is seeking a FSQA Manager to lead the Quality Assurance and Sanitation departments, ensuring GMP compliance, testing, and regulatory adherence. You will drive continuous improvement and manage a team on the production floor in West Valley City, UT.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of food manufacturing, meal kit, or related production experience.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Experience leading teams of at least five people.
• Chemical handling experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and maintains food safety and quality programs to meet regulatory and internal standards.
• Oversees GMP systems, audits, and corrective actions.
• Monitor critical control points and preventive controls.
• Lead QA and Sanitation teams; manage schedules and training.
• Conduct lab testing, environmental monitoring, and root-cause investigations.
• Maintain lab equipment and chemical inventory.
• Collaborate with R&D and production to ensure product quality.
