Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. in Nebraska is seeking an FSQA Lab Supervisor to oversee laboratory and food safety operations at the Tecumseh and Waverly plants on the 1st shift.

You will supervise FSQA team members, ensure ISO 17025 compliance, manage testing and documentation, review results, and participate in audits and training. Travel between sites and occasional weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Food Science, or related field.
• Food manufacturing or FSQA experience required.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025, HACCP, GMP, USDA.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and safely operate lab equipment.

• Supervise laboratory and FSQA Team Members, including hiring, training, scheduling.
• Oversee laboratory testing, quality control, documentation, and daily operations.
• Review and interpret test results and report deviations.
• Maintain laboratory procedures and records per ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
