Job summary

Simmons Foods invites interns to work on real-world projects that impact the organization, with cross-functional exposure across departments and growth opportunities. You’ll tackle a primary project while learning the fundamentals of our processes.

You’ll present your results to the team and senior leaders at summer’s end, contribute to continuous improvement, and participate in a learning-focused environment that values teamwork and hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: In process of completing a degree program for a Bachelor's, Master’s, and/or Doctorate Degree in related field of position requirement.
• Industry Experience: Preferred experience in manufacturing or poultry.
• Technical Experience: Knowledge of business and management principles. Willingness to lead, take charge, and offer opinions and direction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Work on real-world projects with cross-functional teams.
• Present project work to the team, senior leaders and others at the end of the summer.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and drive out waste in processes.
• Support team objectives and adhere to quality guidelines and policies.
