Job summary

Richardson International Limited is seeking a dedicated FSQ Manager for our Winchester, VA pasta production facility. You will lead plant quality and food safety systems, ensuring compliance with FDA, SQF/GFSI, FSMA, and customer requirements, and act as the primary contact for audits and consumer inquiries.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a food-related field, PCQI certification, and 7+ years in quality/food safety with 3+ years in leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a food-related field such as Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or Biochemistry.
• PCQI certification.
• 7+ years of quality and/or food safety experience.
• 3+ years of project or team leadership experience.
• Experience with FDA, SQF, GFSI, and FSMA.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, training, execution, and verification of plant quality and food safety systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, corporate, SQF/GFSI, FSMA, and food safety requirements.
• Lead and participate in regulatory, customer, and internal audits, including follow-up and corrective actions.
• Act as the primary contact for internal and external customers and investigate consumer and customer complaints.
• Develop and monitor plant sanitation and product safety programs to ensure a safe and wholesome product supply.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement practical solutions to quality issues.
• Support safe work practices and help drive safety, food safety, quality, and environmental expectations across the plant.
