Job summary

LMI Consulting, LLC seeks a driven Facility Security Officer to own all security for a new Raleigh, NC office and SCIF build. You will ensure NISPOM compliance, manage personnel and physical security, and coordinate with government security authorities.

Required TS/SCI clearance with SAP eligibility, 7+ years in security, and hands-on ICD 705 SCIF design experience. This on-site role offers minimal travel and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of industrial or personnel security experience, including FSO responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of NISPOM and DoD/IC security requirements.
• Hands-on experience with ICD 705 SCIF facility design standards, facility accreditation, and coordination with cognizant security authorities.
• Demonstrated experience managing DD Form 254 compliance and classification guidance across DoD/IC programs.
• Direct experience supporting Special Access Program (SAP) facilities, systems, or environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Facility Security Officer for the Raleigh program, ensuring NISPOM compliance.
• Manage personnel security processes, including clearance processing, briefings, and debriefings.
• Oversee physical security requirements for the Raleigh facility.
• Coordinate ICD 705 SCIF accreditation roadmap with construction leads and SCIF consultants to ensure compliant buildout.
• Serve as the primary liaison with government security representatives and oversight authorities.
• Develop and deliver security training and awareness programs for program staff.
